WE CURATE VIP YACHT EXPERIENCES
The Lux Yacht Club South Africa seeks to promote the luxury yachting culture in South Africa with access to a large pool of luxury yachts available for hire or experiential anywhere in the country. The Lux Yacht Club (LYC) curates themed VIP yacht cruise experiences in partnership with various brands and organisations. Lux Yacht Club also organises exclusive yacht experiences for corporate, groups, brand activation and other special events. Lux Yacht Club further curates cruises related to major events from the Durban July to The Tourism Indaba, as well as cruises related to special days such as Heritage Day, Valentines Day, Women's Day etc. You can also book a yacht for birthday celebration, graduations and more for memorable VIP yacht experiences, where we can organise your entire cruise experience from beginning to end, from sound, catering, music, theme and much more. Summary of Services on Board
Onboarding your Guests
Your guests should arrive an hour early so we can confirm numbers and for them to be onboarded on time. Departure times for the cruise are not adjustable as there are other trips planned before and after yours. Should your guests be late and not be on time for departure, they will lose the experience and as the cuise will depart without them. Most Yachts take a maximum of 30 guests including the hosts and your team.
The "Branded" Experience
Your are allowed to bring branding on the yacht and brand the way you like. Branding must be tasteful and not offend guests. Brands can also host customers to give them an experience. that is aligned to their brand.
Food and Drinks on Board
Drinks should be ordered through our team to ensure the correct quantities are on board. Food can be optionally ordered through our team, but you can bring your own food on board. Should you wish to bring your own drinks, a corkage fee will be charged accordingly. A waitered cruise service is also available, where a prescribed tab is finalised and your guests can order on board and the bill is settled before or after the cruise. A braai experience on board is available, but only for cruises beyond 2 hours.
Entertainment on Board
Yachts have music on board, you can either bring a memory stick, or a cell phone that connects via an auxiliary cable. Please check if your uSB will work before your start the cruise to ensure your guests will be entertained. Should you wish us to organise the music and DJ for your cruise, kindly advise and we will assist you.
Accommodation in Durban
If you are coming to Durban for the cruise or whatsover and you have not finalised your accommodation, we will very happy to assist you settle in Durban with your clients, friends or partners, we will go as far as booking you a table at some of the hottest spots in Durban where you can have a great time after the yacht cruise.
